STATUTORY DISCLOSURE
The principal objects of THE CONFEDERATION FOR ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT, EXCELLENCE AND STRATEGY are set out below. These objectives define the organization's areas of development, facilitation, research, capacity building and public-interest initiatives.
To promote, support, facilitate, and undertake initiatives for organizational development, professional excellence, strategic management, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, employability, and sustainable economic development for the benefit of students, professionals, entrepreneurs, employers, industries, institutions, government bodies, and society at large, without any profit motive.
To act as a resource, advisory, research, training, and facilitation organization for enhancing employability, professional competency, leadership skills, industry readiness, organizational excellence, and capacity building through education, skill development programmes, seminars, conferences, workshops, certification programmes, mentoring, counselling, publications, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
To encourage, promote, mentor, and support entrepreneurship, start-ups, innovation, incubation, business acceleration, technology commercialization, enterprise development, and self-employment through advisory services, mentoring, networking, capacity building, research, training, and collaboration with public and private institutions.
To provide professional guidance, networking opportunities, career development initiatives, executive development programmes, leadership development, and knowledge-sharing platforms for professionals to facilitate career advancement and continuous professional growth.
To support employers, business enterprises, industries, and organizations by facilitating recruitment, talent development, workforce planning, organizational development, policy advocacy, employer branding, human resource development, business excellence initiatives, and representation before government authorities on matters affecting trade, commerce, industry, employment, and economic development.
To establish, promote, facilitate, support, coordinate, or assist in the establishment, development, expansion, and operation of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), corporate offices, innovation centres, research centres, technology parks, business parks, industrial parks, manufacturing facilities, shared service centres, and other business establishments in India and abroad.
To undertake research, policy studies, surveys, documentation, publications, statistical analysis, and dissemination of knowledge relating to trade, commerce, industry, technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, employability, taxation, finance, governance, sustainability, business excellence, and socio-economic development.
To organize, conduct, promote, sponsor, or participate in conferences, conventions, summits, exhibitions, expos, trade fairs, business delegations, networking events, industry interactions, workshops, webinars, and similar programmes for the advancement of trade, commerce, industry, education, and professional development.
To represent, interact, liaise, coordinate, and collaborate with the Central Government, State Governments, local authorities, statutory bodies, regulatory authorities, public sector undertakings, international organizations, chambers of commerce, trade associations, educational institutions, research organizations, and other stakeholders for promoting policy reforms, ease of doing business, economic development, and public welfare.
To establish, constitute, administer, and promote sector-specific committees, councils, forums, task forces, advisory groups, and professional bodies relating to Global Capability Centres, Corporate Offices, Manufacturing, Technology, Infrastructure, MSMEs, Hospitality, Hotels and Catering, Healthcare, Accounts and Taxation, Human Resources, People Management, Employability, Sustainability, Innovation, and such other sectors as may be considered necessary.
To undertake Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, charitable activities, community development programmes, environmental sustainability initiatives, education, healthcare, livelihood enhancement, rural development, women's empowerment, youth development, skill development, social welfare, disaster relief, and other activities of public utility.
